Blue Offshore has a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Titan Heavy Transport, who own and operate a fleet of heavy duty low-loader trailers which are used for moving large structures and equipment items. Titan Heavy Transport will also provide all engineering and skilled operating personnel associated with heavy transportation.
The individual self propelled modular transporters (SPMT’s) can be linked with with one another in any combination to the project requirements, whereby the synchronized steering of all transportation units integrated in the vehicle group provides exceptional manoeuvrability. The SPMTs are controlled via a remote control panel, from which each axles moves independently and is monitored and controlled by the computerised control system during the entire operation.
