The Pharos Offshore Group is our partner of choice for cable burial. They own and operate various cable ploughs and trenchers with 1.0m-to-3.0m burial performance. Their operators are probably the most experienced across the cable burial industry having been involved with over 100,000 km cable burial and installation since 2004.
Pharos is working on the development of their self-propelled trenching solution for inter array power cables used to connect turbines on offshore wind farms. The 800HP spread has been designed specifically for the inter array power cables and to maximise functional operability, speed of trenching and ease of mobilisation. The jetting tool consists of a pair of twin jetting swords (portside and starboard) or a single directional sword.
