Evert-Jan van Wijk is a co-founder and Director of Blue Offshore, where he runs the day-to-day operations. He is responsible for the operational systems and processes, manages the effectiveness and efficiency, engages and works with engineering and operational professionals, and ensures implementation of operational QHSE standards. Evert-Jan has operational and vessel management experience at the Royal Dutch Navy and at offshore pipelay and subsea construction company Allseas. He has been involved with operational aspects at Vattenfall’s Ormonde and DONG Energy’s offshore wind farms, where he recently successfully completed the 1,200m onshore landing of the export cable.
Gerard Kroese is a co-founder and Director of Blue Offshore, where he manages the day-to-day aspects of our projects. He is involved with client engagements, deliverables across projects, management of scope, implementation of quality assurance procedures, and minimisation of exposure and risks across projects. Gerard has project management experience at leading subsea and construction companies Allseas and Subsea 7. He has also been involved as project manager for Vattenfall’s Ormonde offshore wind farm.
